Mack Altizer was born to Jim Bob and Minnie Lee Weathersbee Altizer on October 27, 1957. Mack is a second-generation Texas Rodeo Hall of Fame Inductee. His father Jim Bob Altizer is a 2004 TRHoF Inductee. As a ranch cowboy, Altizer is also a second-generation rodeo competitor who started in the American Junior Rodeo Association (AJRA) and the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA). Mack helped negotiate taking the College National Finals Rodeo to Bozeman, MT, the beginning of growth for college rodeo that continues today.

Mack’s Stock Contracting Company, Bad Company Rodeo, is the most award-winning Stock Contracting Company in the industry. In 1998, BCR received the coveted “Stock Contractor of the Year” award, in 1999 and 2000 they received Stock Contractor of the Year Awards from the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) and the Professional Women’s Rodeo Association (PWRA). Bad Company Rodeo is also the only PRCA Stock Contractor to provide livestock for every competition event at the PRCA’s World Championship events, the National Finals Rodeo and the National Finals Steer Roping.

Mack is an outstanding stock contractor, who revitalized rodeo events by introducing high-energy and modern marketing techniques. He makes his home in Del Rio, Texas.
