Pam Perner Goodwin
Pam was born on September 1, 1944 in San Angelo, Texas. She attended schools in Ozona. Pam’s love of horses was inspired by her father, P.C. Perner who was known for raising good using horses and kept her well mounted and able to win. She competed in AJRA and Open Junior Rodeos. Pam first won the barrel racing at the West of the Pecos Rodeo in 1966 and later won again in 1972 and 1976. She was a member of West Texas Barrel Racing Association from 1966-1995. She also served as a director and secretary for the West Texas Barrel Futurity in the early 1990’s.
