John Rae Powell

John Rae Powell was born on February 10, 1925 in Fort Worth, Texas.  He ran the ranch his grandfather established in 1883 in Eldorado, Texas until his death in 2015.  Ranching was his love and first priority, but roping was his passion.  During the 50’s and 60’s, John Rae entered the West of the Pecos Rodeo to place many, many times.
