Charles Good
Elida, New Mexico – The West of the Pecos Rodeo will always be special to Charles.
Roping steers has always been a passion of Charles Good and competing at the West of The Pecos Rodeo was like icing on the cake for him. Good first competed in 1960 and last threw a loop in Pecos in 2000. He won the calf roping title at Pecos in 1965. Charles has been a professional cowboy for over 55 years.
In 1976 Charles was the PRCA Champion Steer Roper while his son, Gary won the steer roping and his brother, Billy Frank, won the team roping in Pecos that same year.
