Buck Jackson

Buck Jackson announced the West of the Pecos Rodeos with a natural “Gift of Gab” knowing all the cowboys, the events and the rules.  Buck served as a Reeves County Commissioner for two term and Reeves County Sheriff from 1944-1948.

In the Old T&P Depot in Pecos, Texas, you will find more information about the man that the current West of the Pecos Rodeo arena was named after.  Buck Jackson was inducted into the Texas Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2004.
